Boughton Engineering raises level of Emergency Operating Plan
To our valued customers, colleagues, partners and suppliers:
The safety, welfare and protection of our customers, our colleagues, our suppliers, our partners and our communities are our absolute priorities at this most difficult time. Following the recent UK Government advice and guidance, including the practice of social distancing, we have raised our Emergency Operating Plan to its highest level across all our facilities with immediate effect, as of Tuesday 24th March. This means our teams are working to introduce essential controls, constraints and procedures throughout our fabrication and manufacturing plants and our service centre, to maintain trading, access and support, whilst complying with our internal COVID-19 contingency plan, which includes increased special measures across the board.
If your vehicle is currently with us for service, or you have purchased a vehicle, one of our team will be in touch to discuss this further with you.
If you are unsure about service work, we would ask that you contact us via the following e-mail address:
Our EOP includes reducing operating levels in all departments and production areas, whilst retaining specialist crews on site to handle and despatch orders for parts and spares – but there may be some delays.
For breakdowns, please contact your brand recovery service in the first instance – you will find the number in your operating book pack and, in the event of an accident, our technical support team remain accessible by calling:
Our website remains fully functional and we will endeavour to respond quickly to all customer enquiries.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our teams for their continued professional and hardworking approach. They have come together in extremely difficult circumstances in a way that makes us all tremendously proud to be a part of the Boughton and Skan Group family. We will be doing everything possible to look after our colleagues during these tough and unprecedented times.
My whole team joins me in thanking you for your continued loyal custom and support which has made us the strong and growing business we are today. These are unprecedented events and we anticipate that many of our customers will wish to contact us at this time, so we ask that you please bear with us.
Finally, we hope all our customers and their families stay safe and well through these challenging times and we look forward to resuming normal operations and service as soon as it is appropriate to do so.
