Boughtons offer Skiploader facilities with load capacity from 7,500kgs to 32,000kgs GVW, built to ISO 9001-2000 Quality Standards, fully CE compliant and CHEM Standard; so you can be assured of our continued excellence. We have available a Maclift Compact TL skip loader ready mounted on a Leyland DAF 4x2 chassis cab with the following specification: DAF LF55, 18,000kg GVW, 3450mm Wheelbase, 220 BHP Engine (Euro 5), 4 ft Beacon Bar. Boughtons would normally fit this body to a 3,750mm wheelbase (300mm longer). However, by adjusting the front bolster and recessing the hydraulic tank we were able to mount onto the shorter wheelbase. This creates an added advantage for anyone who wants a particularly short 18,000kg skip loader, without losing bed length.
